About the Role:
Help Nursery is a commercial business of Help Enterprises, a community-based social enterprise whose mission is to enhance the lifestyle and independence of people who live with disability. Our wholesale nursery business supplies high quality plants to the landscaping industry. We provide a unique, supported workplace environment for many of our employees who live with disability. You will be the face of the Nursery delivering our product to our customers in a timely manner. You will also spend time within the Nursery between deliveries, working alongside our supported employees.
Reporting to the Horticulture Manager, you will:
- Be polite and professional towards customers
- Ensure timely and safe pick-up and delivery of goods as directed, maintaining schedules and punctuality
- Maintain regular checks on the vehicles and advise the Nursery Supervisor / Horticulture Manager of any requirements for maintenance as soon as possible
- Confirm goods/materials are in good conditions before loading them into the truck
- Must always obey the traffic rules, representing the Help brand in a safe and professional manner
- Perform basic plant maintenance
- Prepare orders for dispatch
- Assist team members when required
- Assist in maintaining a workplace that is safe, clean and uncluttered
- Work with Horticulture Supervisor and support staff to achieve personal work goals
We are currently looking for a quality Delivery Driver for Full-Time role based in Mitchelton
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- MR Drivers Licence (essential)
- Previous Horticultural Delivery experience will be highly regarded
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work within the Nursery between deliveries
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
