About the opportunity

The Warehouse Storeperson plays a pivotal role in our warehouse operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of materials, products, and goods within the warehouse, with a strong focus on maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing logistics. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with the commercial sites staff, suppliers, and other departments to meet our customers' demands.

More specifically you will:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies. Ensure the organization and storage of products to maximize space utilization
  • Oversee and conduct the receipt of incoming shipments, inspect and verify goods, and manage the shipping process, ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Coordinate and conduct the picking and packing of orders, assigning tasks to supported personnel, and ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment
  • Provide direction and supervision to supported personnel, including training and day-to-day task assignment 
  • Enforce safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant working environment for all warehouse employees
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure timely product availability and address any warehouse-related issues or concerns
  • Operate in cooperation with the support functions on site, contributing to a harmonious customer focused site
  • Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner

This is a Full-Time position based at: Acacia Ridge

About you: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual which possesses the following qualities: 

  • Proven experience in warehousing or a related field
  • Hold a current Forklift licence (Mandatory)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management software, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
