About the opportunity

We are seeking an industry professional to take on the role of In-Work Support Mentor. In this fixed term, 12 month contract, you will support HELP clients in Upper Mount Gravatt and surrounding areas by providing tailored employment related services to assist them to maintaining their employment goals. The role will monitor placements and outcome claims for the region, as well as maintain employer, jobseeker and site relationships through post placement support activities and claims advice. 

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Post Placement Support for both employers and jobseekers 
  • Track, monitor and increase jobseeker retention and outcomes 
  • Ensure that sufficient and compliant documentary evidence is gathered to substantiate delivery of service 
  • Ensure claims throughout your region are processed at the correct intervals 
  • Actively engage in employer and/or jobseeker contact and record all notes in accordance with contract compliance requirements 
  • Promote Help services to employers, seeking additional &/ or ongoing vacancies from them 

This is a Full-Time Fixed Term (12 Month) position based at Upper Mount Gravatt

About you:

  • Current or previous Employment Services experience is desirable but not essential 
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with jobseekers and employers 
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution 
  • Strong administration and compliance capabilities with a high attention to detail 
  • Demonstrated ability working towards targets and KPIs 
  • Resilient in nature and ability to thrive in a continuously changing environment
